Hi, I'm Pete Isacowitz. Welcome to Woodsong, where you'll find handcrafted door harps, didgeridoos (a traditional Aboriginal wind instrument), Celtic harps, marimbas, musical tables and musical sculptures, which I build at my studio in Rosh Pina, in the Upper Galilee, Israel. I also have a variety of kalimbas from African Musical Instruments.
I have a wide variety of door harps, whose gentle chimes will fill your home with good vibrations. These door harps include the King David's door harp and the Hamsa door harp (a traditional Jewish and Middle Eastern symbol of protection). If you are ever in the Galilee, feel free to come and visit - I'd be happy to give you a musical demonstration of the instruments. To book a "mini-concert" for groups of up to 30 people (at a fee) please call in advance.

New from Woodsong!! The "Belly Harp"
Inspired by our daughter, Tali's first pregnancy, Pete decided to design a musical instrument that could play gentle, pleasing sounds directly to the embryo. The "Belly Harp" fits on the pregnant belly and transmits mellow sounds to the baby.
During her pregnancy, Tali reported that every time she played the Belly Harp, our gorgeous grandson, Noam (born on the 5th of November and now 3 weeks old) responded with a lot of movement, and she herself found it very calming. She now uses it to soothe him and feels that he very much recognises the sounds.
